About
Join WoTL for an introductory workshop on understanding your soils. The day will cover:
- Soil texture, pH and structure
- Reading a soil test report and understanding what it means for your farm
- Soil carbon
- A discussion on carbon farming
- Microbiome
- Practical session on testing for pH and soil texture
The workshop will include a paddock and a seminar session.

Amanda Schapel
Amanda Schapel enjoys creating hands on sessions to unpack all things soil. She loves to talk about what it means to have a healthy, productive soil and will provide you with the skills to help understand your soil.
Bonnie Armour has a love for new ideas and exploring solutions in sustainable agriculture. Of her many interests, soil biology, carbon, regenerative agriculture and bees are among her top favourites.
