About
In conversation with Heidi Boyd, Confido Coonawarra
Heidi Boyd is the passionate force behind a thriving olive grove in Coonawarra, home to 1,600 olive trees, 300 lemon trees, and a diverse range of fruit. A few years ago, she made a bold career change—leaving her role as a Finance Manager in the wine industry to follow her dream of working the land full time. Swapping spreadsheets for steel-cap boots, she now produces premium extra virgin olive oil, table olives, and handcrafted olive oil–based soaps and balms.
Working alongside her husband and family, Heidi embraces a “back to basics” philosophy, creating natural products without unnecessary additives. In November 2024, she opened a Tasting Room offering immersive experiences and grove tours, with plans to introduce cooking workshops. Driven and purpose-led, Heidi is building her leadership confidence, expanding her business, and connecting with other women in agriculture—grounding her work in authenticity, sustainability, and community.
