WoTL presents, Back to Basics – best practice farm animal husbandry, with Alice Morley of FP Ag, and Co-Presenters, Megan Miller of Briar Rose Farm and Susan Haese of Yaringa Alpacas.
This informative workshop will cover best practice animal husbandry for goats, alpacas, and sheep. With content specifically designed for women on small acreage or those who are new to livestock management, topics will include:
- Animal handling
- Animal nutrition
- Vaccination programs
- Worm management
- External parasites
- Farm biosecurity
The day will also include a number of engaging demonstrations and provide an opportunity to ask questions, and also includes morning tea, lunch and take home notes.

Alice Morley, FP Ag
Alice Morley is an animal health and livestock agronomy specialist with FP Ag, having many years of experience supporting livestock producers on the Fleurieu Peninsula.
Co-Presenter: Susan Haese, Yaringa Alpaca Stud
Susan has 20+ years experience in breeding & showing elite alpacas, offering complete care & management solutions for alpaca owners including in person workshops.
Co-Presenter: Megan Miller, Briar Rose Farm
A committed goat breeder & shower for 12 years, Megan loves sharing information to help others in their goat journeys – including breeding for quality milk and companionship.
