A bus trip to Poodra Springs and T-Ports Lucky Bay
About
Join WoTL on a trip to Poodra Springs Native Flowers where owner Jasmin Piggot will take you through the story of how her blooming enterprise was established despite years of heartbreaking drought. On this trip we will collaborate on:
- Understanding land management issues on local properties and how resource management can bring new successes.
- Exploring ways to diversify and make business more sustainable in testing times.
- Exploring the Poodra Springs enterprise diversification, from understanding soil types, water requirements, and the opportunities they present.
- How this venture has led to even greater community leadership.
Further to exploring risk management and making your own opportunities, the day includes a visit to the T-Ports, connecting women to part of their grain marketing strategy options.
