In 2024, the conference theme "Be the Change" will take centre stage, resonating with the vibrant and dynamic community of women connected through agriculture.

In the paddocks, offices, boardrooms, research labs, and community spaces, we are all leaders in our own unique capacities, possessing the remarkable ability to drive, influence, and navigate change. As stewards of the land, innovators in sustainable practices, and advocates for rural communities, we recognize that our collective impact is far reaching.

This conference serves as a catalyst for fostering a profound understanding that each one of us holds the power to instigate transformative shifts, not only within the agricultural landscape but also in society at large. Join us on this journey of inspiration, collaboration, and empowerment as we explore the ways in which women in agriculture can spearhead positive change, leaving an indelible mark on the future of our communities and the planet.

Navigating change requires a versatile toolkit that encompasses both practical skills and a resilient mindset. The 2024 conference will deliver a series of toolbox talks that provide delegates with some key tools and approaches to help individuals gain the necessary capabilities to navigate change effectively.

Delving deeper, our conference unfolds with strategic sub-themes, each addressing pivotal aspects of our dynamic roles in the agricultural landscape.

  1. "Self and Leadership," building the capacity to navigate and thrive amidst the ever-evolving currents of change.
  2. "Business and Workplace," shedding light on the complex dynamics within the professional sphere of agriculture.
  3. "Thriving Country and Community," encompasses the crucial elements of people and place, emphasizing sustainability, community development, and the intricate web of community relationships.

WoTL invites presenters to engage, reflect, and contribute to a conference experience rich in knowledge, inspiration, story-telling and collaborative growth.

Toolbox Talk presenters are not limited to female presenters. All genders are encouraged to apply.

Toolbox Talk Presentations are 50 mins duration, including question time.
