Managing Your Ewes Nutrition
Join us at the Cummins Ewe Nutrition Workshop
About
This interactive workshop will focus on some of the key principles of managing your ewe’s nutritional requirements whilst maintaining soil cover and prevent soil erosion. The day will cover:
- Changing ewe nutritional requirements over a production year
- Feed budgeting
- Filling the autumn feed gap
- Condition scoring ewes
- Pasture assessment
The day will also be an opportunity to connect with other women involved in farming while learning how to care for your livestock and farming soils.

Cummins Hotel, followed by hands on practical in afternoon.

$55 inc GST plus booking fee.

Colin Trengrove
Colin has had a career interest in ruminant nutrition and health spanning employment in livestock consultancy, mixed veterinary practice, Primary Industries, and the University of Adelaide. His passion is to optimise animal welfare through a better understanding of nutrition and sustainable farming throughout SA.
